Origin & Inspiration
The school was inspired by the story and life experiences of one of our founders, Dr. Channa Raju, an IIT trained aerospace engineer and scientist at the National Aeronautics Laboratory, Bangalore, India.

In 2001, Brahmi laid the foundation for its formal school, Anjana Vidya Kendra, in Despandeguttahalli, a village near Bengaluru, India.
Over the years, Anjana Vidya Kendra has blossomed into a full-fledged high school, educating over 350 children mainly from families of small-scale farmers, farm-workers and labourers.
The school serves as a beacon of hope, fostering growth and development not only for its students but also for the surrounding community
